Leatha Louise Gordon's Obituary
Leatha L. Gordon, born August 1, 1923, went to be with her Lord December 30, 2023, at the age of 100 years old.
She was a graduate of North Dallas High School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from SMU. She worked in the office of Dr. Bruton for 18 years and the offices of Drs. Fangman and Terrill for 13 years. Leatha was a member of First Baptist Church, Dallas for all or her 100+years, literally cradle to grave. She enjoyed bible and mission studies as well as singing with the Celebration Singers senior choir.
She married Robert on April 9, 1944, who preceded her in death in 1998. She is survived by son Michael, daughter-in-law Leah, grandson Matthew, spouse Miranda, granddaughter Sara, spouse Jeff Rowe, great grandchildren Ella, Nina, Moses Gordon, Iris Rowe and sister Janie Neal.
Memorial will be in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Memorial Park on January 18, 2024
at 2:00PM with Rev. Jim Haines officiating.
