My parents (Richard and Sally Farr) informed me of the news this past weekend. We are so very sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
My mother, Abbie Laura Hardin Farr, was Dud's aunt. His mother was mother's older sister. There are many wonderful memories of Duds, that's what we called him. He was just always so congenial and happy personality. My first memory was seeing Duds and June together; what a handsome couple..she was a real beauty, brown eyes that had a twinkle and her smile and laughter would light up a room. They were the perfect couple it was certainly obvious that Duds adored her..they could just look at each other and connect. They loved their girls and were so proud of them. Dudley was a man dedicated to his family and a consumate professional in his work. He had a remarkale memory and I always loved hearing him talk about a variety of his adventures of the years gone by. He always bragged about his grandkids and their accomplishments; he would grin from ear to ear and get that twinkle in is eye. Such pride in his family; treasured times spent with his "Buds".I'll miss him.Love,Margaret Jean
I am so sorry to hear about Dudley. He was a great guy. I remember many good fishing trips with our families to Lake Texhoma and the big Lone Star aluminum boat he loved. The Glasses were so good to our family. We loved living next door to them in Dallas. My mom, LaVerne Ashcraft died in the same time period. She was buried in Ardmore, Oklahoma in January of this year. Gail if you happen to read this blessings to you. Peace, Randy Ashcraft. Vanette Lane
