Lee Dan Lambeth Sr.'s Obituary
Born July 6, 1920 to Willie Lee Arnold Griffith Lambeth and Lafayette Dandridge Lambeth in Birmingham, Alabama; the second child of eight children. Lee passed away January 21, 2009 in Bedford, Texas at the age of 88. He proudly served in the Navy during World War II, and on December 5, 1945, was married to Audrey Josephine Dudley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey; daughter, Jeanne Ruth Wilson; grandchildren, Ricky Deal; great-granddaughter, Crystal Deal; as well as both of his parents. Survivors include his children, L. Dan Lambeth, II and wife Sharon, Ben Charles Lambeth and wife Nicole, Susan Jo Lambeth Siler and husband Rob, Richard Neal Lambeth and wife Debra; son-in-law, Gordon Wilson; grandchildren, Bobby and Rusty Deal, Michelle Lambeth, Jennifer Lambeth Locklear, Shane Whitt, Wendy Spikes, Ryan Lambeth Christopher, Mathew Lambeth, Gwen and Doug Cooper, Cynthia Siler, Rebecca Siler Meredith, Kathrine Siler, and April Barton with husband Jay. Lee is also survived by great-grandchildren, Kimberly and Brighton Lambeth, Kaleb, Kobie and Madison Locklear, Spencer, Colby and Clayton Coker, and Darius Spikes. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:30 pm, Monday, January 26, 2009 at Restland Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm, Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at Restland’s Wildwood Chapel.
