Lee Hoyte Parks' Obituary
Lee Hoyte Parks, 95, of Rowlett/Lone Oak, Texas passed away, Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Baylor Lakepointe Hospital. He was the husband of Mary Christine Neal Parks. He was born February 27, 1922 in Caddo, Oklahoma of the late Bud and Maggie Park. Lee Hoyte was retired from LTV, aircraft mechanic, Morton Foods, Diesel mechanic, and Dal-Tile, forklift mechanic. He worked at his home in Lone Oak, Texas until 2 years ago. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Mary Christine Neal Parks; sisters, LaVerne Pierce and Betty Coney; brothers, Theo (Boots) Park and Mardell (PAT) Parks; granddaughter Amy White. He is survived by two daughters, Marjorie Jan King of Rowlett, Texas and Shirley Jaon Hollers of the Dallas area; four grandchildren, Vic Hollers, Kim Griffin, Scott King and wife Stacey and William King; nine great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren; and many many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, July 31, 2017 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at the Restland Memorial Chapel with interment following immediately in the section of Gospel at Restland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
