Lena Boykin's Obituary
Lena Boykin passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on March 14, 2025, at the age of 81. She was born on September 15, 1943 in Magee, MS to Fordie Williamson and Martha Fortenberry Williamson of Magee, MS.
Lena was preceded in death by Phil Boykin, the beloved of her life, and her daughter Dorothy Lynn Seals. She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Page; son, Mitchell Parrett; granddaughters Tiffany Little, Jennifer McLean, Carol Singer, and Stephanie Boykin Rashea; grandsons Cory Boykin and Collin Boykin; great granddaughter, Kylee Little; and great grandsons Joey McLean and Riley McLean.
Everyone who knew Lena knew how much she loved playing cards and other games. They also knew how closely they had to watch that score card!
Lena spent many of her years in Mesquite caring for children. Many of these kids kept in touch with her through the years and loved her like a grandma.
Lena also loved collecting angel figurines.
Lena was a long time active member of Town East Baptist Church in Mesquite, TX, and was an active member of Bethel Baptist Church in Hartselle, AL at the time of her death.
