Ms. Lena Lavelle Wyatt's Obituary
Ms. Lena Lavelle Wyatt, age 93, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, in Rockwall, Texas. She was born to Mr. Bert Rogers and Ms. Carrie Nelms on Wednesday, October 3, 1928, in Havana, Arkansas. She had one sister, Aileen, and 3 brothers, Luther, Lewis and Lloyd. She married Harold T. Fallwell and they had 3 sons.
She worked at Southwestern Bell/AT&T as a Long Distance Operator from 1951 to 1983! She loved attending her annual high school reunions. She was a member of First Baptist Church on Oates Drive in Mesquite. Her favorite scripture was Proverbs 3:5-6, Lean not unto your own understanding. She also loved the song, Jesus is the Lighthouse(especially the middle verse)! And her hobbies included sewing.
Lena is predeceased by her husband, Harold Fallwell; sister, Aileen "Sissy" Cornelius; brothers, Luther Rogers, Lewis Rogers and Lloyd "Curly" Rogers and grandson, Michael Fallwell.
She is survived by her sons, Gary T. Fallwell (Linda). Steven and Randall; grandchildren, Roy Bartlett, Amy Gaunt and Laci Garcia; Eight great grandchildren and Three great great grandchildren.
Lena leaves her loved ones with unforgettable memories and loving stories. She will be sincerely missed by her loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.
