Mr. Lenton Adrian Varnado Jr.'s Obituary
Lenton Adrian Varnado Jr., 90, of Mesquite, Texas passed away Monday, June 27, 2022 at his home. He was born January 7, 1932, in Pike County, Mississippi, to Lenton A. Varnado, Sr. and Mary Branch Varnado.
He grew up having to work hard on the family farm and continued working hard his entire life as an electrician eventually owning and operating his own electrical contracting business. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, poker, dancing, and spending time with family and friends.
He was a Master Mason since 1973 in the Grand Lodge of Texas in the Mesquite Lodge #928 and Metropolitan Lodge #1182. He was also a member of Shriners International – Hella Temple and Scottish Rite of Freemasonry.
He is predeceased by his parents; his wife of 60 years Omega Wallace Varnado; one brother and three sisters and their spouses; two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law, daughter-in-law Rebecca Riddle Varnado, and grandson Trey Bragg.
He is survived by companion, Olivia Thompson; son, Robert Varnado and companion Jeanette Kramer; daughter Juanita Bragg and spouse Jack; brother-in-law Daniel Wallace; sister-in-law Elizabeth Smith; Grandchildren Melissa and Ken Neff; Richard and Christy Bragg, Matthew and Shannon Varando, Jackelyn Bragg; Erie and Robert Price; Great-grandchildren Taylor, Payton, Adrian, and Brayden Bragg, Elysse and Rhys Varnado, and Hadley White. Countless nieces, nephews. Masonic brothers, friends and acquaintances.

Visitation, Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 9:00am follow by Celebration of Life at 10:00am.
