Leo Corum's Obituary
CORUM, LEO CLINTON Went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 7, 2007. He was born June 25, 1920 in Huntsville, Alabama and came to Dallas, Texas in 1925. He married Margaret Hicks in 1938 and they shared a beautiful life together for nearly 69 years. Leo worked for the City of Dallas Water Utilities in the Meter Shop Division for 41 years until he retired in 1980. He and Margaret had several years of enjoyment at their country farm near Canton, Texas. They relocated to Mesquite, Texas after Margaret’s health declined. He loved camping, especially Colorado, and was active in the Church of Christ as a deacon and elder for many years. Survivors include his wife Margaret; son, Johnny Corum and wife Charlene of Plano; daughter, Carolyn Harvey and husband Bill of Rowlett; grandchildren, Leslie Berry and husband Tracy of Mesquite, Johnny Harvey of Canton, Patricia Hickman and husband Randy of McKinney, Sherri Corum of McKinney, Rodney Harvey and wife Shannon of Rockwall, Mike Corum of Reno, Nevada, Tim Corum and wife Shanna of Monument, Colorado, Debbie Barineau and husband Mike of Rowlett; additionally, there are 15 great-grandchildren that survive. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 9, 2007 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 10:00 AM in the Restland Wildwood Chapel.
