My daughter, Erin, granddaughter, Lara, and I met Ed shortly after he moved to Hurst, TX at the other end of Dorris Street which is a one-block street…and Ed was a Baha'i! We couldn't believe our luck that another Baha'i had moved to Hurst and lived on our one-block-long street. That was back around 1998 and we enjoyed living so close to him as he did to us. Any Baha'i event at either house was only a short walk away. Then we moved to Fort Worth. But we still saw Ed at many events all over the DFW area. He often came to our monthly firesides in our Fort Worth home. He was a truly spritual man, a faithful follower of Baha'u'llah and the best friend one could ask for. We are so glad for Ed that he is now in the Abha Kingdom where we know he is happy and free of the illness that plagued his life so long. "Do not feel grieved or disconsolate, therefore, at the ascension of that bird of faithfulness; nay, under all circumstances pray for that youth, supplicating for him forgiveness and the elevation of his station." -'Abdu'l-Baha
