Leo F Woodruff Jr “Joe” was born October 8, 1940 to Leo and Joanna Woodruff in Leonard, Mississippi. He was married to Peggie Ann Woodruff for 40 years. He worked for Vought for 36 years before retiring. He could always be found out in the yard whether it be tending to the garden or mowing the yard. He accepted Christ and began serving the Lord at Richardson East Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by: His father, Leo Woodruff and his mother, Joanna Woodruff Leo passed from labor to reward on November 24, 2015 at his home. Among many that remain to cherish his memories are: his wife, Peggie Woodruff; his sons, Maurice Woodruff(Veronica); Patrick Woodruff; his daughter, Mary Strong; his sisters, Minnie Bell Reed, Rhodia Mckenzie, Maxine Randon, his brother, James Woodruff (Stephanie); his 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, a special niece Porchia Jamerson and a host of family, friends and loved ones. Family will receive guest on Thursday December 3, 2015 from 6-8pm at Restland Funeral Home 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Tx 75243 Service will be held on Friday December 4, 2015 @ 2pm at Richardson East Baptist Church 512 E Main St, Richardson, Tx 75081
