Leo Weldon Young's Obituary
YOUNG, LEO WELDON, born September 18, 1921 in Hamlin, TX and passed away May 31, 2007 in Dallas. He was a member of Lake Point Baptist Church in Rockwall. Served in the U.S.Army during WWII and a member of VFW Post in Rowlett. Leo had an outgoing personality, was very friendly and was named “Neighbor of the Year”. Known by his grandkids as “Pa-Paw”, which became his name to his friends and family. Leo is survived by his wife, Marcheta Young; daughter, Donna McFaul & husband Donivan of Dallas; sons, Stan Young & wife Jane of Breckenridge, CO, Gary Ray Young & wife Pam of Allen; daughter-in-law, Sally Young of Weatherford; grandchildren, Drew and Duston McFaul, Ellen Hall, Scott Young, Colleen Knapp, Jason Young, Marcy Bryant, Kristy Young-Hartley, Jenifer Young, and Timothy Young; 14 and 1 expected great grandchildren; brother, Billy Ray Young & wife Jean; and sisters-in-law Virginia Young and Rhonda Young. He will be greatly missed by all. Services will be held at 3:30 pm, Sunday, June 3, 2007 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
