Leola Moss' Obituary
MOSS, LEOLA BLANCHE LANE, Born in Wheatland, TX 7/27/1909 to Amanda Belle Crouch and Frank Baldwin Lane. Died 9/8/2007 in Athens, TX. Married to Leo Nelson Moss in 1938, she was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, and friend. She was also an accomplished artist, a member of many prestigious artists groups, and past President of Dallas, NLAPW. As well as art, she loved to travel and loved music. Her faith in God was unwavering and she was an active member of the East Dallas Christian Church for over 70 years. Known for her sweetness, kindness and charity, she will be deeply missed by all that knew her. Predeceased by her husband Leo, two sisters, two brothers and a great-granddaughter. Survived by her daughter Carolyn Frenzel and husband Jim, and her son Hugh Moss and wife Helen, 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be Tuesday, 9/11/2007 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be Wednesday 9/12/2007 at 3:30 p.m. at Restland Wildwood Chapel with Rev. Lynette Solomon officiating. Intermenet will follow at Restland Memorial Park.
