Leona Grace Hufnagel's Obituary
Hufnagel, Leona Grace was born on July 26, 1926 in Ingram, Pennsylvania and passed away January 6, 2016, in Dallas, Texas. Leona “Lee” Grace (Koglin) Hufnagel, age 89, died on January 6, 2016. Born and raised in the Pittsburgh area, she made her home in Woodbury, NJ, from 1949 to 1976. She was a faithful member of the Woodbury Presbyterian Church, including serving as a soprano soloist and leader in many youth programs. She volunteered as a nurse’s aide at Underwood Memorial Hospital, and was skilled in many of the textile arts. Living in Dallas, TX, from 1976 to 1989, she was active in several churches and local gardening clubs, and earned her Licensed Vocational Nursing degree in 1987. She is survived by her husband, Wesley Ord Hufnagel of Dallas, TX, daughters Janet (Russ) Geiger, Carol (Kenneth) Heimlich, and Beth (David Adler) Hufnagel, four grandsons, three great-grandchildren and close friends Steven and Chris Peebles, their daughters and grandchildren. Services at her interment at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, TX, will be private.
