Leonard Milton Bradburn's Obituary
Leonard M. Bradburn, 77, passed away Saturday, August 29th, 2009. He was born and raised in Dameron, MD. He enlisted in the USAF in 1952, where he spent the next 20 years serving this great country. After completing a tour in Vietnam he was stationed to MacDill AFB, in Tampa, FL and retired as a MSGT. After retiring, he earned his Bachelor degree in Accounting from the University of Tampa. In 1976 he moved with his family to Dallas, TX and started working for the Department of Defense. During his time with the DOD, he received several recognition awards for his superior performance as an auditor. In 1999 he took early retirement so he could take care of his wife, Ann. He also volunteered at Baylor University Medical Center and earned several Volunteer of the Year awards for his outstanding service. Brad is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ann. He is survived by two daughters, Sabrina Bradburn, Dallas, TX and Linda Bowler (Patrick) from Tierra Verde, FL and many nieces and nephews and their children. Arrangements have been made for Visitation, Tuesday, Sept. 1 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, Sept. 2 at the Abbey located at Restland with the burial immediately following the service.
