Rev. Leonard Jack Garron's Obituary
A loving husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully on Friday, November 19, 2010 at the age of 79. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marlton and Lear Garron of Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Rev. Garron moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at an early age, where he graduated from Douglas High School. He continued his education and graduated from Maryland State University (Eastern Shore) with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He received a Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration from Trinity University, San Antonio, Texas. Rev. Garron is survived by his loving wife, Doris, and two children, Leonard J. Garron Jr. of Schaumburg, Illinois and Kimberly Wright (Chuck) of Woodbridge, Virginia; Grandchilden, Leonard III, Kyler and Bradford Garron; Chasz and Kaylen Wright; sister, Delores Hale, Freemont, California; brother, Henry Garron, Oakland, California, and other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at Munger Avenue Baptist Church, 3919 Munger Avenue, Dallas, Texas, on Friday, November 26, 2010 at 11:00AM. Pastor W.C. Davis, Presiding. Donations may be made in Rev. Garron’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 4144 North Central Expressway, Dallas, Texas.
