Leonard T Kern Jr. born February 11, 1931, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and passed away Friday, May 19, 2017, at the age of 86 in Dallas, Texas. Preceded in death by his wife Natalie Sadler Kern. Survived by his children Dr. Kay Stout, Alice Kern-Kirby, son-in -law Joe Stout and grandchildren Alexandra Kirby, Hannah Stout, Jessica Kern and Slade Kern. Services will be held Saturday, May 27, 2017, at 2:00 PM at Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration 14115 Hillcrest Rd. Dallas, Texas 75254. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration.
