Leonora M. McIntire's Obituary
MCINTIRE, LEONORA Age 89, passed away December 8, 2007, in Dallas, Texas. ‘Leo’ was born on December 1, 1918, in Oralabor, Iowa. She was the fifth of six children born to Settimo Masolini and Brunetta Battistini Masolini. Leo attended Parsons College in Fairfield, Iowa, and later moved to Texas where she met and married John H. McIntire. They made their home in Richardson, Texas, where they stayed for over 40 years. Leo enjoyed a long career as the Executive Secretary at AIG in Dallas, and was well-loved by all who knew her. She is survived by sister Bruna Masolini; sons, John and his wife Kyron of Monroe, LA, and Tom and his wife Lynn of Dallas; daughters, Susan Jeanes and her husband Bryan of Holly Lake Ranch, TX, and Annie Harris of Lafayette, LA. Leo is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, Ben, Kathryn, Chris, David, Jack, Matthew, Sara, Morgan, Zoe, and Abbie. She was preceded in death by her husband John McIntire, and three brothers and one sister. A 12:30 pm memorial service will be held on December 22, 2007, in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
