Leonora Nation's Obituary
Leonora Nation, 67 of Dallas TX, passed away January 2,2021 after battling complications from COVID with her family by her side. She was born April 8,1953 in Louisville KY, daughter of Mary Elizabeth and Herman Frederick Amshoff.
Leonora was married to her loving husband James Chester Nation who cherished and loved her dearly. Leonora and James married on November 28,1972. She lived a selfless life just to be surrounded by her family. She was one of a kind, lived by her faith, love for her family and dedication to her second family at Circle Grill where she was a waitress for 35 years. Leonora was the kind of person when you met her you already met an angel. She made sure her family was taken care of and even if you were not family, she would help you. Her passion for Life and Strength will carry on through everyone she touched. She was a two-time cancer survivor of colon cancer 8 years ago and lung cancer 1 year ago, she battled the devil till the very end. Her spirit and her smile will forever live on for eternity.
She is preceded in death by her husband James, mother, father and many other family members and friends who were taken to soon.
She is survived by her 3 daughters, Angela Nation her fiancé Brad Bramblett, Kimberly Nation, Jamie Garcia her husband Tony Garcia, 9 grandchildren, Meagan, Tyler, Trevyn, Tony, Madeleine, Abraham, Jacob, Marcella, Monica her husband Nelson, 3 great grandchildren, Adrian, Nathan, Sebastian, 2 sisters, 3 brothers, many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Due to COVID Restrictions masks are required, temperatures will be checked and if you feel ill or have been exposed, we ask you not to attend. There will be a live feed to watch for those who cannot attend
