As anyone who knows me knows, I have had a love of Harry Potter since I read the first book. What many may not know is that I probably wouldn’t have found those books as early on if it wasn’t for my Aunt Leo. She fueled my love of reading, and that’s not surprising considering she was a librarian. She bought me almost all of my original Harry Potter books, and took me to see the first 5 Harry Potter movies before she was no longer able to get around outside of the house as easy. Harry Potter was definitely part of the glue that stuck us together. Over the last several years I have not seen her as much, but about 3 months before I started working as a nurse I was able to spend 2-3 days a week helping her around the house and we got to have many conversations. I was actually on my way to her house when I found out I had been offered my position as a nurse on my floor. She was smart, wise, and unapologetically opinionated. She loved her genealogy and books with a passion. She will be missed dearly, but I know she is breathing better and moving freely again. ❤️
