Mr. Leroy Charles Hill's Obituary
Leroy Charles Hill was born October 13, 1944 in Bryan, TX to L.C. Hill and Mildred Hill. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Lee Hill. He accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. On March 27, 1964 he married his sweetheart, Lorene (King) Hill from Hollis, OK and they were married for 56 years. From this union he had two children, Lynn Roy Hill and Lesa Raquel Hill – Alexander.
Leroy was employed as an Operations Manufacture Manager for Levi Strauss & Company and worked there for over 20 years. He also worked for the Garland Independent School District for a short time. He became a dedicated member of Mount Hebron Missionary Baptist Church and served on several ministries. He served as President of the Usher Ministry. He was ordained as a Deacon on January 16, 2000, served as a Deacon Team Leader and was a dedicated leader of the Shepard Ministry over several families at The Mount. He also served on the Transportation Ministry. He was a dedicated servant for the Lord.
Leroy is survived by his loving wife, Lorene Hill of Garland, TX, his son, Lynn Roy Hill of Sherman, TX and his daughter, Lesa Raquel Hill – Alexander of Garland, TX. Three grandchildren, Jermaine Montell Jackson of Corsicana, TX, Tamecka Nicole Jackson of Pilot Point, TX and Adraine Lynn Hill of Arlington, TX. Two sisters, Vera Mae Ealoms and Mildred Jane Hill of Garland, TX. Five brothers, Charles Edward Hill (Elizabeth Hill) of Dallas, TX, Billy Ray Hill of Dallas, TX, Travis Bryant Hill of Garland, TX, John Earl Hill of Garland, TX and Willie Ray Hill of Garland, TX. A host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
