Dear darling Leslie, I remember meeting you, in the mid 1960s I think, on Lugary street. There were 3 little blonde girls and you were the oldest, all in pink pajamas. You always had a smile and wanted to visit. Trying to make small talk I must have said something about cleaning house. From then on that was my greeting, "had I cleaned or did I have a maid." You also wanted to know about our children. Most of all I have admired your parents, from the first, for the way they raised you. Exactly as they did Laurie and Lenley. You have had the very best life they could possibly have given you. I am so grieved over your tragedy and the anguish your family is going through. Much love, Carolyn Johnston P.S. Yesterday I had a maid.
