Leslie Elton Pintler's Obituary
Pintler, Leslie Elton fell asleep in Christ on October 2, 2008. He was born in Honesdale, PA on January 19, 1922 to Charles and Ida Pintler. He married Nell Patton, 62 years ago, in Greenville, TX, February 20, 1946. Leslie was awarded a bronze star and a purple heart for his service during WWII. In the army, he served in the European Theatre in the 99th Infantry Division, fought for the Rhineland and Ardennes, in the Battle of the Bulge. Following in the Steps of Christ, he had a career as a master carpenter. He is preceded in death by his son, Larry Earl Pintler and grandson, Scott Brandon Greathouse. He is survived by his wife, his children, Carol Ann Greathouse, Lesta-Jean Desiree Allman, Gary Elton Pintler, Rose Marie Mince and Terry Dale Pintler; 19 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Visitation will be 2-4 pm Sunday, October 5, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be at 10 am, Monday, October 6, 2008 at Restland Wildwood Chapel with Pastor Allan Priest officiating. Burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park.
