Lester Max Degner's Obituary
On Monday October 12, 2020 Lester Degner, loving husband and father of two sons, passed away in Allen, Texas at the age of 94.
Lester was born April 13, 1926 in Marshfield, WI to Max and Wilhelmine Degner. On April 17, 1948 he married Darlene Genett. They raised two sons, Don and Bill. In 1949 they moved to Milwaukee where Lester worked for A.O.Smith his entire career.
Lester enjoyed motorcycles, bike riding, wood carving and watching NASCAR races. He was an active member of Falls Baptist Church in Menominee Falls, WI. Lester had a wonderful smile, a listening ear and enjoyed a good conversation.
Lester is survived by his wife Darlene. Son Don and his wife Pam live in Allen Texas and son Bill and his wife Leslie live in Peachtree City, Georgia. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in the spring of 2021 in Marshfield, WI. In lieu of any flowers, donations may be sent to:
