Lester Ray Evans' Obituary
Lester Ray Evans passed away at the age of 92 on August 15, 2018, in Dallas, Texas. He was born July 20, 1926, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi the youngest son of eight brothers and sisters by parents, John William Evans and Ada Valera Turner Evans. Lester retired after 37 years at Proctor and Gamble as a lab analyst. He loved his hobbies; hunting, fishing, and golf. He enjoyed his family and friends on the deck of the Evans Sunrise Social Club at the Home Place Farm in Mississippi. Lester served in the Navy during WWII. He is preceded in death by his wife Iris Lemmon Evans. He is survived by daughters; Sherri Evans and Wendy Evans.Visitation will be Friday, 6-8 PM, August 17, 2018, at Restland Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 18th at 10 am at Restland Cemetery.
