I remember visiting Uncle Lester during a few summers up in northern Indiana. Regardless of what he had going on, he would make it a point to take my younger brother, Chris, and I out to do something together. We went fishing on a boat on a pond, he pushed many a soap box derby car for us, bought us Dairy Queen Ice Creams, was present at my wedding, and always always gave a warm greeting and a heart felt hug at family gatherings. He could sing in a manly baritone and was very talented. I always enjoyed seeing he and his wife Andrea in any occasion. He definitely married-up and she was a perfect winsome complement for a wonderful conversation at any meal. He was very supportive of my mother and demonstrated that care openly.
I hold great memories of Uncle Lester. From a nephew,
