Mr Lester Keirn's Obituary
Lester Keirn went home to be with our Lord on November 8 2021 in Houston, TX. He was born in Oklahoma to Leonard and Haskell Keirn. He was raised on a farm with his brothers Doyle, Oran, and Clyde.
Lester attended two years of college before he joined the Army. He was stationed in Korea during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged as a Corporal a year later.
Lester was married twice. He was married to Phyllis for 18 years. They have one daughter. He was married to Adalene for over 20 years. They have four daughters.
He worked for the federal government as a postman for nearly 40 years. Not long after he retired, he moved to Houston to be near his daughter Debra.
Lester was a life-long member of the Church of Christ. He served as a deacon at the Terrell Church of Christ. His responsibilities included coordinating missionary ministries for the church.
Lester is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Adalene, and his three brothers. He is survived by his daughters Laura, Leigh Ann, Linda, Lizbeth, and Debra. He was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
