Letty Fay McAdams' Obituary
Letty McAdams died after a long illness at her home in Dallas, Texas, on May 21, 2023. She was 75.
Letty was born Aprll2,7948, at St Bernard's hospital ln Jonesboro, Arkansas, the daughter of Rex and
Crata Castleberry. She spent her early years in Salem, Arkansas, after which, at age 7, her family moved
to Jonesboro, She graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1969 and earned a law degree from the
University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Lawln1978. She and Hall McAdams married in
Jonesboro, Arkansas in 1968. They made their home in Little Rock and later ln Dallas. After practicing
law for several years in Little Rock, she established a home design business there.
Letty was a loving partner to her husband, Hall, and a devoted sister to Crata and Lesse Castleberry, as
well as to her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, all of whom survive her, Her love,
support and keen wit will be missed by all of them. She took great delight in her family as well as ln her
puppies, who will no doubt miss her as well.
A service will be held ln Little Rock at a later date. ln lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the
Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, 501 E. 9th St., Little Rock, AR 72202
