Levonia "Dee-Dee" McDonald's Obituary
Levonia "Dee-Dee" McDonald Moore 84, passed away on April 16, 2021 at her home. Dee-Dee was born on May 1, 1936, in Bunkie, Louisiana to the parentage of Alzire (Tassan) and Clet Johnson.
Dee-Dee had 12 siblings, all who preceded her in death.
Dee-Dee will truly be missed by all who knew her and loved her. She was an incredible woman of God. She was a faithful servant by nature. The only thing that superseded the love she had for her children and grandchildren, was the love she had for Christ.
She served as a nurse for more than 25 years. Dee-Dee was a people person who never met a stranger. She enjoyed cooking and feeding as many people as she could.
Her hobbies and interest included traveling, dancing and going to Winstar Casino. Being surrounded by friends and family gave her so much joy. Our lives will never be the same. When you remember her, we hope that you will remember how she loved unconditionally and carry her with you.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 21 years, Windel Moore; children, Robbie McDonald and his wife Donna, Paula Poole and her husband Doug, Phyllis Rich and her husband Mike, and Brad McDonald and his wife Penny; stepchildren, Michelle Hernandez and her husband Cruz, and Stephen Moore; 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one on the way.
