Lewis A. Fetzer Jr.'s Obituary
FETZER, JR., LEWIS A. – Born September 10, 1935 in Dallas, Texas and passed away November 16, 2012 in Plano, Texas. Mr. Fetzer is survived by his loving wife, Ofelia; daughters, Leticia and Leslie; and granddaughters, Amy and Tamara. He was a Korean Veteran and served in the Seabees in the US Navy. He was employed by Electrospace Systems of Richardson which later became Raytheon for more than 25 years as a mechanical designer and drafting quality supervisor. He was also an active ham radio operator, Extra Class WA5OQD. Other hobbies included photography, hunting, fishing, and camping. He was formerly a member of John C. Pelt Masonic Lodge in Duncanville and then transferred to Plano Masonic Lodge in Plano where he served several times as Chaplain. Mr. Fetzer was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason and a Noble of Hella Shrine in Garland where he was honored with the presentation of the Golden Trowel Award from the Plano lodge. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
