METHENY, LEWIS WILLIAM Born July 17, 1932 in Blytheville, AR and passed away December 30, 2011 in Dallas, TX. Lewis served his country in the US Navy from 1949-1953 in the Korean War on the USS Bremmerton. Preceded in death by brothers, Homer Clayton Metheny, Waymon Metheny, Gene Metheny; and sisters, Betty Jane Huffman, Barbra Metheny. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sally Eva Metheny; children, Lewis William Metheny, Jr. and wife Suzanne, LuAnn Marie Gill and husband David, Christopher Knox Metheny, Andrew Taylor Metheny and wife Katie; grandchildren, Lauren Gray and husband Leon, Margrate Metheny, Sally Anna Gill, Bryan Gill, Mary Grace Metheny, Vivian Metheny, Lucy Metheny; great grandchildren, Zake Gray, Brylee Gill; and brother, Jack Metheny. Visitation from 6-8pm Monday, January 2nd at Restland Funeral Home. Services at 3:30pm Tuesday, January 3rd at Restland Memorial Chapel.
