Lidia Florez Tomlinson, age 85, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on April 28, 2026. She was born on December 14, 1940, in San Angelo, Texas, to Felipe Florez and Jovita Guerrero.
Lidia will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, a proud grandmother, and a caring wife and friend. She had a vibrant personality and a love for life that was evident to all who knew her. She enjoyed watching reality television, keeping up with the latest gossip, and spending time reading romance novels and magazines. Lidia took great pride in her appearance and was known for her flashy style and her desire to always look her very best.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, N.G. Tomlinson; her sisters, Bertha Florez, Pauline Morris, Rosa Florez, Gloria Florez, and Elida Florez; and her brothers, Johnny Rodriguez and Mique Rodriguez.
Lidia is survived by her daughter, Lydia Beecher, and her cherished grandson, Judson Beecher, who will continue to honor her memory and carry forward her legacy of love.
Lidia’s warmth, strength, and spirited nature will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
