Lila F. Parsons' Obituary
PARSONS, LILA F. Born January 2, 1917 in Quinlan, Texas, and went to be with the Lord on November 3, 2009. Waiting for her was her husband 65 years Ted, her son Randy, her parents, her brother and sister, other family members and many friends. She is survived by sons, Gary Parsons and wife Teresa, Greg Parson, and daughter-in-law Sandra Howard; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her other family at The Wellington. Lila worked for many years with the Beaumont Police Department and City of Beaumont, Beaumont, Texas, John E. Mitchell Company, Dallas Texas and Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Richardson. Visitation will be 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Friday, November 6, 2009 at Restland Funeral Home. Memorial service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 7, 2009 at The Wellington, 600 West Arapaho Road, Richardson, Texas 75080.
