Lila Bess Terry's Obituary
TERRY, LILA BESS, of Dallas was born November 14, 1917 and passed away May 1, 2007. She is preceded by her brother and her parents. Lila is survived by daughter, Shirley Hogan and husband Leonard; son, Ken Terry and wife Mac; grandchildren, Terri Henson, Kelly Richardson and husband Mike, Scott Terry and wife Amanda, and Mike Capps and wife Tracy; 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild; and sister Mary Verna Griffith Boyd. She was an avid gardener, talented seamstress, involved with the FUN Club, and a long time member of Kessler Park Methodist Church. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 3, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 4, 2007 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The Alzheimer’s Association.
