Lillian B. Frazier's Obituary
Lillian Frazier, age 64 of Garland, Texas went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 20, 2010. She was born November 29, 1945, in Mt. Herman, OK to the late Sarah Battiest-Totubbi. Her family moved from Oklahoma to Lake Dallas, Texas in 1955. She graduated from Crozier Tech High School in Dallas, Texas in 1963. In 1964 Lillian began working as a typist for the Dallas Police Department. In 2002 she was awarded Non-Sworn Employee of The Year. She retired August 2, 2002 from the Office of Chief of Police after 37 years of service. Lillian was a member of the Dallas Indian Revival Center for 25 years. There she served as a Sunday school teacher, Women’s Ministries President and a member of the Deacon Board. Lillian was a member of the Choctaw Nation. She was best known as Grandma and her love of her grandchildren, family and friends. Lillian survived by her only daughter Donna Forbit and her husband Charles Forbit of Dallas, Texas; one granddaughter, Marci Briscoe and her husband Michael Briscoe of Cedar Hill, Texas; two grandsons, Lenny Vasquez, Jr. and Sean Frazier both of Garland, Texas; two great-granddaughters Amira and Aaliyah Frazier of Garland, Texas and one great-grandson Marcelino Miramontes of Dallas, Texas; one brother Alan Larry Totubbi and his wife Leisa Totubbi of Garland, Texas. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by one sister. Viewing will be from 6pm-8pm, Thursday, March 25, at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville, Ave., Dallas, TX 75243. Funeral will be at 10am, Friday, March 26, at Dallas Indian Revival Center, 2010 Ivanhoe Ln., Dallas, TX 75208. Interment, Restland Cemetery, Whispering Waters, 13005 Greenville, Ave., Dallas, TX 75243.
