She was a retired Foreign Travel Clerk with the Dallas County Health Department.
She lived in Texas all her life.
She enjoyed knitting, sewing most of her children's clothes & made her oldest daughter's wedding dress. She also liked birthday parties, going out to eat & family get togethers.
She always thought of others. At Christmas time she would make gifts for the residents in her apartment building. Then she would go hang it on their door. She always went to church, a Baptist Church, & took her children with her. She attended Bold Grace Fellowship. Her Father was a pastor.
Her grandchildren called her "Memaw".
Lillian loved to laugh. Her 6 children would sit around the eating table after the meal & told stories of funny things that happened that day or another time. Everybody would wind wind up laughing.
"God said that you were tired & ready to come home. So He put His arms around you & whispered "come home with Me." By unknown.
So our mom was a little piece of heaven on earth for her children.
