Lillian J. Williams' Obituary
Lillian Williams died April 29, 2008 at the age of 97. She was born January 13, 1911 in Allen, Texas to Hewlett Z. and Fannie Edith (Lewis) Jones, A Pioneering Family of Collin County. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, James Doyle Williams and her parents, Hewlett Jones and Fannie Edith Jones. Also, preceding her in death were her brothers; Cliff Jones, Carl Jones and Shaffer Jones; five sisters, Marie Angle, Verba Leach, Una Bozeman, Imagene Savell and Edith Carter; three nephews, Volney Ray Leach, Lowell Jones, Hewlett Jones and two nieces, Edna Nicholson and Maxine Hicks. She is survived by nieces and nephews; Lorene Smith of Richardson, Dorothy Mills of Plano, Rayme Huskey of Emory, Ralphanne Moody of Granbury, Clayton Jones of Allen, Clifford Jones of Aubrey, George Angle of Grand Prairie, Don Carter of Fort Worth and sister-in-law, Aline Jones of McKinney. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends, including ‘Special Friends’, Bobbie Davis, Pat Johnson and Janice McKee. Lillian graduated from McKinney High School and from Draughans Business College of Dallas. She was employed by Texas Power and Light Company for 35 years. Lillian was a long standing member of First Baptist Church in Richardson, TX and Worthy Matron of Eastern Star. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, May 2, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 3, 2008 at Restland Memorial Chapel. Interment will be at Restland Abbey Mausoleum following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Richardson Building Fund, 1001 N. Central Expressway, Richardson, TX 75080.
