Lillie Ann Purkey was born July 9, 1936 in Bokchito, Oklahoma and passed away March 20, 2016 in Mesquite, Texas. She was preceded in death by parents, Jesse C. and Zora Jones and her son, Shawn Purkey. Lillie Ann was survived by husband of 61 years, Weldon Purkey; son and daughter-in-law, Vance and Esther Purkey; daughter and son-in-law, Elesa and Robbie Stephens; grandchildren, Jonathan Purkey and his wife, Brittany; Jennifer Purkey, Ross Stephens, Joshua Purkey, Jacob Purkey and his wife Abigail; Samuel Purkey; great grandchildren, Michael, Madison, Henry, Dean and Hunter. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Sunnyvale, TX. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Sunnyvale, TX.
