Lincoln Frank Roman's Obituary
Lincoln F. Roman retired from Exxon Mobile after 36 yrs. He entered Texas A&M on a football scholarship & graduated Class of ’44. Lincoln was a Lifetime member of the Houston Chamber of Commerce, the Texas Manufacturing Assoc, & the Masonic Lodge. He was active in civil affairs; the United Way & received a silver award for Meritorious Service by the American Petroleum Inst. He served as Capt. in the US Army stationed in Italy and the Philippines in WWII. He can be seen in the well known picture of the Aggie Muster of April 21, 1946 on Corregidor. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. Survived by his wife Rose Mary; daughters Gail & Royce & son-inlaw Mike Cooper; grandchildren Jeannie, Roman, Peyton and their families; Brother Raymond and wife Lillian Roman. Memorial Service at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church October 8th, 3:30pm.
