Linda P. Arredondo's Obituary
Linda P. Arredondo was born November 20, 1960 in Austin, Texas. A daughter to Oscar and Alice Prince and a sister to seven siblings, Linda grew up with a fierce but humble heart. She stood tall and proud in everything she did. Linda led by example on a daily basis. Anything she put her mind to, was done with grace and perseverance. She never cut corners and for that, she was rewarded time and time again. So many lives were touched and influenced by Linda, she shed light on others and was always willing to go above and beyond to help someone else. She opened her heart and her home to many friends and family, connecting each of us with lifelong relationships. Everyone who encountered Linda felt light and an overflow of love.
Linda enjoyed being outdoors and one with nature. The mornings were her favorite time of day. She would wake up early just to sit on the back patio with a cup of coffee to enjoy the morning sunrise. This was her downtime, because once she got started she would not sit down until the day was done.
Linda was a do it yourself kind of person. She would roll up her sleeves to work in the yard or on home projects and master them all on her own.
Linda loved being around friends and family especially during the holidays. Christmas was her favorite time of year! She would spend days decorating her home and Christmas tree to perfection. Every year, the entire family would come by for Christmas dinner and reindeer games. She absolutely loved giving gifts to everyone!
Linda was a true blessing to all! She was highly engaged with Habitat for Humanity, led a life group, and ushered at New Hope Christian Church. She lifted others up when they were down and was a true reflection of Jesus himself. We know her time on earth was well spent as she has left a lasting impression on all!
On September 15, 2021, as the morning sun rose, and surrounded by all of her children, Linda was called to her heavenly home at age 60. She is survived by her children, Misty and husband Robert, Ray, Angelica and husband Scott, Justin and wife Chelsea, Amanda, Michael and wife Caitlin; Red, the dog; thirteen grandchildren, Jacob, Tony, Alycia, Melanie, Alan, Danika, Addisyn, Karissa, Liam, Cailin, Evelyn, Eddie, and Nathan; as well as her stepmom, Roberta; five siblings, Oscar, Jimmy, Joe, Leroy, Michelle; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by, her father, Oscar; her mother, Alice; and her brothers, James and Armondo.
She will be dearly missed by all that had the pleasure of meeting her. We know she will continue to watch over and guide us from Heaven.
