Linda Jo Carter's Obituary
Linda Carter was born June 14, 1948 to Frances Irene Balch and Joseph Palmer Roberts in Dallas, Texas. She graduated Oak Cliff High school in 1965 and went on to open her very own flower shop. Linda then decided to jump head first into real estate, selling farms and ranches for 45 years, her daughter Melanie worked with her for 24 of those years! We always said we were the Carter team and when Molly was born, she was the 3rd member, and our 3 hearts will never part.
Her Nickname was Wonder Woman, because of her actual name. It fit her so well, she raised 2 kids on her own, while running a very successful business she built herself from the ground up! She loved Galveston, cruising, any type of seafood, especially oysters and sushi. She loved everyone she knew unconditionally, without judgment. She worked hard to play hard and travel even harder! We will miss our wonder woman but I promise to carry on your legacy mommy doll! You loved Jesus, your family and your friends!!
Linda was preceeded in death by her parents Joseph Palmer Robert's and Frances Robert's, her sister Sharon Robert's, her son Mike Carter, and her brother Joseph Robert's. She is survived by her daughter Melanie Carter and her husband Michael Stephenson, her husband Bobby Tucker, her sweet grand babies, Molly Carter, Jackson and Natalie Tucker, Owen and Angael Stephenson, and too many friends to count! She taught everyone around her what true love was, and we all will remember that love for eternity!
Love,
Your Baby Doll
