Linda Lewis Cooper's Obituary
Linda Lewis Cooper, 88, peacefully joined her Lord and Savior in Heaven on November 14, 2023. She is proceeded in death by her husband Oscar Joe “OJ” Cooper, parents Orvetta and RV Lewis, brother and sister-in-law Jimmy and Joyce Lewis, brother Joe (Mary Lou) Lewis and brother-in-law Eugene Cooper (Margie).
Linda is survived by her son Don Cooper, daughters Liz Ing, Dana Shuford (Bryan) and Amy Fuller (Sid). Grandchildren Kati Davie (Nick), Gene (Janet), Troy Michael (Tabitha), and Maverick Hale, Jonathan (Sidney) and Kara Shuford, Elise and Lorelei Ing, and Sidney and Samantha Fuller. Great grandchildren Dylan and Mason Davie, Preston, Olivia, Grayse, Megan and Nathan Hale, Kristan and Kinlee Shuford. Linda is survived by two sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. As important as her family, she is survived by her childhood best friend Anita Jordan and many other friends she loved immensely.
Linda was a fun-loving-life-of-the-party soul who always had a smile on her face and a shoulder to cry on. She was a ride or die type of friend, may have been known to instigate a little mischief, and brought joy to those who loved her. She will be missed tremendously.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, December 6 at 2 pm at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, 12411 Templeton Trail, Farmers Branch, TX.
