Linda Gail Ellis' Obituary
Linda Gail Ellis, 73, of Addison, Texas, passed away on November 27, 2022. Funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 6 at 2:00 at Restland Funeral Home at 13005 Greenville Av. In Dallas, Texas, in Wildwood Chapel. Visitation will take place before the service, at 1:00. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery. Linda was born in Dallas, Texas, on June 20, 1949 to parents Thomas William Ellis and Stella Logan Ellis. She graduated from Justin Kimball High School in Dallas and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education from the University of North Texas (formerly NTSU). After graduating, Linda began her career teaching elementary school youngsters in the Dallas Independent School District. She took a break from teaching after a few years to work as concierge at the Lowes Anatole Hotel in Dallas. She returned to teaching in Dallas, where she worked until her retirement.
Linda is preceded in death by her father, Bill Ellis. She is survived by her mother, Stella Ellis, of Plano, Texas, her goddaughter, Claudia Spiegel, and extended family, including many loving cousins. In lieu of flowers, you may make a contribution to the charity of your choice.
