Linda Louise Hedrick's Obituary
Hedrick, Linda Louise Flatt 69, went to be with her Savior on March 14, 2015. Linda was born December 3, 1945 to Ray Edgar Flatt and Iva Kathryn Selleg Flatt of Spokane, Washington. In 1964, she graduated from North Central High School in Spokane, Washington. She attended Washington State University and graduated in 1968. Linda married John Earle Hedrick in 1970, and they moved to Dallas, Texas. Linda spent most of her adult life working as an insurance agent for various companies in the Dallas area, and was very involved in Toastmasters Clubs in the 1980s and 1990s. She was a longtime member of Scofield Memorial Church, later attending Lake Ridge Bible Church, Mesquite Bible Church and Colonial Baptist Church. Linda will be remembered by many for her courageous struggle with ovarian cancer. Since June 2012, she endured continuous chemotherapy without complaint. Her optimism and upbeat attitude inspired others wherever she went. Linda is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John Earle Hedrick. She is survived by daughter, Amy Nedelcu, her husband, Mihai and their six children, Matthew, Andrew, Abigail, Alex, Melody and Alivia of Rockwall, Texas and brother, William Flatt of Spokane, Washington. The service for Linda Hedrick will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 3:00 PM in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
