Linda Sue Jackson's Obituary
Linda Reed Jackson, of Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born to Eddie Reed Sr. and Audrey (Caldwell) Reed, she lived a life filled with joy, generosity, and unwavering devotion to those she cherished.
Linda brought warmth, laughter, and love wherever she went. She treasured time with family and friends and created lasting memories through her adventurous spirit and love of travel.
A proud graduate of Hamilton Park High School, Class of 1966, Linda remained active in the alumni association throughout her life. She worshipped at St. Paul AME Church and Hamilton Park Methodist Church, where she found faith, fellowship, and strength.
Linda dedicated 35 years of service to Presbyterian Hospital in Environmental Services, remembered by colleagues for her kindness, professionalism, and steadfast commitment.
She is survived by her son, Corey Reed; granddaughter, Jodie Reed; stepchildren, Cece, Nancy, and Chris Jackson; and brothers, Lloyd and Eddie Reed Jr. She was preceded in death by her son, Terrence Reed; her parents; and her siblings Howard Reed, Gladys Hill, Joyce Reed, Mattie Pearson, and Teddie Yancy.
Linda leaves behind a loving family and many friends who will forever hold her memory close. Her legacy of joy, faith, and love will continue to shine in all who knew her.
