Linda Johnson's Obituary
Linda Johnson, 78 years old, of Plano, born October 30, 1945, in Sherman, Texas to Carl and Lydia Kennon, passed away on August 21, 2024. She married David Johnson on October 30, 1964. They would be celebrating their 60th anniversary this year.
Linda loved the beach and went as often as she could. Linda also had a love for children. She worked as a nanny for many years taking care of children for several families. She was active in her local bowling league, church activities, and taking her dog, Bunny, to a local nursing home to visit residents.
Linda was preceded in death by her mother and father, Lydia and Carl Kennon. She is survived by husband David of Plano, daughter Ailsha and husband Jim of Hewitt, son Phil and wife Brandy of Garland, seven grandchildren: Travis, Isabella, Brittany, Nick, Railey, Jimmy, and Colby, her sisters Carene and Linnie Bell and brother Luke, as well as many family and friends.
Linda’s family would like to give a special thank you to Bryan and Marsha Johnson for their unconditional love and support, the Upper Room Class at Hunter’s Glen Baptist Church, and Pathway Hospice for their care.
Linda’s service will be Monday, August 26th at Restland Memorial Chapel, located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243. Visitation is at 1:00PM and service at 2:00PM.
