Linda "Carole" McCrea's Obituary
Carole McCrea, of Richardson, Texas, passed away on April 4th at Methodist Richardson Medical Center.
She will always be remembered as a loving and gracious mother, grandmother, and a kind and caring friend. She was born on April 20, 1944 to William and Savon Hudson in Greensboro, NC. She had an adventurous life, being married to a career Air Force Tech Sergeant for many years, traveling to Europe and all over America. She was exuberant and had a spontaneous spirit, always ready to travel or just to enjoy a fun day out on the town. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, playing the piano, and she was a voracious reader. She loved her cat, Julie, whom she loved to spoil.
Carole is survived by her only child, Grayce Summers of Richardson, Texas, and her two grandchildren, Johnathan Hubbard and his wife Hailey in San Antonio, Texas, and Ben Mitchell and his wife Zoë in Anacortes, Washington. We will all miss her bright smile.
The funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, April 19th at Wildwood Chapel on the property of Restland Park. Address is: 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
