Linda McDonald Hacker's Obituary
LINDA MCDONALD HACKER of Plano, Texas, went to be with our Lord in Heaven on November 27, 2020 at the age of 81. She was born June 10, 1939, to A. F. McDonald and Chrystell (Blakely) McDonald in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Linda was a graduate of Sunset High School in Dallas, TX. She married Dan Hacker on December 14, 1963 in Dallas, Texas.
Linda was ahead of her time in her use of technology and anything with a keyboard and enjoyed various administrative assistant positions with her very favorite time spent at EDS.
She and Dan later built Hacker Group Enterprises where she served as President.
Linda was known for her dedicated service to those with whom she worked and lifted up others by making them laugh or offering a motherly word of advice (only when asked of course). Linda served in various churches, supported a number of Christian ministries, and participated in Jaycees with Dan over the years. Linda loved to study God’s Word, read mysteries, play the latest video games, and fish.
Linda is survived by her son, Milton Hacker and wife Cathy of Plano, Texas; daughter, Darlene Hudson and husband Van of Gainesville, Georgia; grandson, Brandon Hacker, wife Rachel, and great-grandson, Wyatt of McKinney, Texas; and close cousin Kaye Basham Davis of Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, A.F. McDonald and Chrystell.
Due to safety concerns at this time, her Celebration of Life will occur at Restland a later date.
