Linda Joyce Meredith's Obituary
Mrs. Linda Joyce Stolz Meredith, daughter of late Gustave “Gus” William Stolz Sr and Lillie Belle Tate, was born on July 8, 1945 in Dallas, Texas. She attended the public schools of Dallas County and graduated W.W. Samuell in 1963.At a young age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and attended Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri and Southwestern Assemblies of God College in Waxahachie, Texas, majoring in Missions. She held numerous jobs in the Dallas area but her passion and heart was serving Reverend Everitt Fjordbak at Lakewood Assembly of God as his personal secretary for 13 years.She was united in Holy Matrimony to Ronnie Russell Meredith on February 12, 1972. This union was blessed with two children.Mrs. Meredith was an active member of Lakewood Assembly of God and Garland First Assembly where she taught Sunday school, helped in the nursery and sang in the choir, alongside her dearly departed sister, Lillie Mae. As a result of her kind spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved by many. Her Christian life was as beautiful as the flowers she loved and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.Linda peacefully departed this life Friday, September 15, 2017, at Groom Senior Living in Plano, Texas, in the presence of her loving husband Ron, son David and daughter-in-law Karin.She is preceded in death by her sister Lillie Mae Alexander, brothers Gus Stolz Jr. and Eugene Stolz and her parents. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children and grandchildren: Amy Diane Meredith Rowden of Hutto,Texas and her boys, Liam and Luke; David Aaron Meredith, his wife Karin Joy of Garland, Texas and their six children, Dakota, Taylor, Chaselyn, Kanaan, Evangeline and baby girl on the way; brother John Stolz Sr. and his wife Nancy; Mother-in-law, Edith Marie Meredith, 103 years of age; brother-in-law, Jimmy Meredith and his wife Karen; sister-in-law, Lucia Teinert and her husband John; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends.The family will receive friends on Monday, September 18, 2017, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home.Service will be officiated by Pastor Wayne Hanks on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at 11:00 am in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
