Linda Sue Nall's Obituary
Linda Sue Nall passed away September 7th, 2020, in Garland, Texas at the age of 72. Linda was born June 5th, 1948 to Bill Peters and Stella Florene Vance Peters in Dallas, Texas.
Linda graduated from Bryan Adams High School in 1966 and was a member of the Future Homemakers of America, then she went to beauty school and received her license. She met Charles at White Rock Church of Christ and they married August 7th, 1970. Together they had two daughters, Gwen Gough of Mesquite and Pam Cobb of Bedford. Linda later wrote to her daughters in a journal that she’d married the only man she ever wanted.
Linda was a supportive wife and mother who stayed home with her family and was very dedicated to taking care of her husband and daughters. She and her family began attending Buckingham Road Church of Christ in 1991. She loved her church family and felt that it was very important to attend services faithfully until she was no longer able to attend due to her health.
She loved sewing and made many of her daughters’ clothes when they were young. Later in life, she took great joy in making pillows, dolls, and hand puppets as donations for her church’s pantry. It was very important to her that the children of her community be able to pick out something for themselves.
Linda is survived by her husband of 50 years, Charles; daughter Gwen Gough and husband Greg; daughter Pam Cobb and husband John; granddaughter Ashley Guthridge and husband Tyler; granddaughter Abbey Gough; great-granddaughters Harper and Everleigh Guthridge; numerous nieces, nephews, and beloved cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Stella Peters; her brother, Chris Peters; her nephew, Carey Peters, and numerous aunts and uncles.
