Linda Nevil's Obituary
Mrs. Linda Fincher Nevil, “Gran Gran” 73, of Anna, Texas was called home to heaven by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She passed away peacefully on June 2, 2020. Linda was born in Shreveport, LA but spent most of her life in the Dallas area. She was an immensely proud alumna of Baylor University class of 1969, Sic ‘em Bears!
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Martha Juanita Fincher and William Paul Fincher. She was a devoted wife to Mike Nevil for 50 years, and what an example they have been to so many! Linda’s legacy will continue through her family and friends: especially her son, Brad Nevil, his wife Haley; daughter, Celeste Nevil Gwynn and her husband, Andrew Gwynn; as well as her four grandchildren she completely adored: Ansley Peighton Nevil, Michael Bradley Nevil Jr., Madeline Grace Gwynn, and Nathan Michael Gwynn. Linda is also survived by her three sisters: Nancy Fletcher, Martha Smith, and Debbie Wheeler, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and her Ladies Night Out group.
Linda is best known for the unconditional love, affection, compassion, and belief in her loved ones. She was a prayer warrior and brightened so many lives with her beautiful smile, kind heart, and angelic voice. Linda is now with her Savior; her body is whole, and she is joyous in the Lord’s house with her parents and her departed friends and family. In lieu of flowers, Linda would be honored by your sponsorship of a child or donating to Mission Maasai, a ministry dear to the Nevil family. www.missionmaasai.com
